The TurboVap LV Evaporator is a microprocessorcontrolled evaporator that provides simultaneous, automated concentration of multiple samples, unattended operation, convenience, and speed. The TurboVap LV can simultaneously process up to 50 samples in many popular test tube, centrifuge tube, and micro-centrifuge tube sizes.

Technical Notes

The unit was connected to a high pressure gas source. The pressure adjustment works properly. The water bath temperature was checked with an independent thermometer at 60 °C. All buttons are responsive. Tested all rows and hissing sound can be heard from the nozzles, accompanied by a slight drop of pressure.

Defects

The mechanism that fixes the gas adjustment knob to the unit housing is broken. It does not affect the functionality of the unit.
