Model 2042 Ultra is a two-stage PTFE diaphragm pumps excellent for all common evaporations, drawing vacuum down to 2 Torr (2.7 mbar) for solvents with atmospheric boiling points down to 160 C.

Technical Notes

We opened up the pump heads and cleaned the diaphragms. Tested the ultimate vacuum with a micron gauge and achieved < 2 Torr which is better than the factory specs.
