Technical Notes

We opened all pump heads and cleaned all the valves and mating surfaces. All valves are in good condition upon visual inspection. The vacuum level reached 62 torr (83 mbar) when tested with a micron gauge, which is slightly poorer than the manufacturing specs of 80 mbar.
