Technical Notes

The unit cools to -104 °C quickly. The vacuum level we were able to achieve was 19 mTorr when not using the manifold and 26 mTorr when using the manifold.

All buttons are responsive. The display is clear.

The vacuum pump has been tested with a micron gauge and pulls a vacuum of 3 micron (mTorr).

Defects

Missing one quickseal valve. Damage to the rubber ring around the stem that connects the chamber to vacuum pump, but it does not affect the functionality of the unit
