Technical Notes

The unit was manufactured in 2016 and was refurbished by the OEM on 2024-12-01.

It was fully calibrated by the previous owner on 5/27/2025, including ROI, Uniformity, Dye plate 1, 2, and 3, RNaseP, and background. The calibration has an expiration date of 5/27/2027.

The testing done by ALS technicians includes:

1. Successful connection via cloud connection. The unit was then unlinked from our account.

2. Self-verification test all passed

3. We did an RNase P with a used RNase P plate. Although the test failed due to the expired plate, the test confirmed the instrument's hardware integrity. The curves show clear, cycle-dependent fluorescence detection and thermal response across the block, proving that the CMOS camera, excitation source, and thermal Peltier elements are fully operational.

The unit was put in ship prep mode.
