Powder XRD Slide Sample Holder for Rigaku Bruker Round Square

These are non-OEM holders compatible with Bruker and Rigaku XRD diffractormeter.

Holders with 0.2mm well depthare optimized for small sample volumes of crystallinemedium and heavy element powders(compounds containing Al and above, etc.). The X-ray beam is fully absorbed within the 0.2mm layer, delivering clean diffraction data. Not recommended for materials containing only light elements (e.g., carbon, boron, oxygen). At higher angles, X-rays pierce the 0.2mm layer and strike the substrate, creating a broad amorphous background hump between 15°–35° 2θ. Not suitable for analyzing amorphous materials. The holder’s own amorphous hump will blend into and distort the sample's signal. For amorphous phase analysis, a true single-crystal Zero-Background Holder is strongly preferred.
