Technical Notes

The unit arrived on our site without a PC. We downloaded the Guavasoft 3.3 software on a laptop and connected the cytometer via a USB cable. The connection was successful. We were able to eject and load the tray. We performed the cleaning process according to the user manual and noted no issues. However, since we do not have a registration code, the acquisition screen in "Via Count" cannot be accessed. We ran a dummy sample (DI water) using the easyCheck screen and were able to confirm that the laser was operational (light can be seen from the capillary chamber). The results are meaningless since a dummy sample was used. We were not able to perform any further tests.

Although we could not perform a complete functionality test, it appears that the unit is fully operational. The unit arrived in a lot, among which other equipment that we were able to test was in good working condition.
