The refrigerated Eppendorf Centrifuge 5810 R is the ideal day-to-day centrifuge for laboratories with medium-throughput requirements. It has an extremely compact footprint yet still offers the real versatility of being able to take both tube and plate formats.

Technical Notes

Display clear, all buttons responsive. Lid lock mechanism works. The chamber cools to -9C as checked with an independent thermometer. Test run to the maximum spin rate of 4000 rpm and no issue was noted.

Defects

Scuffs and scratches on the unit housing. Lid piston does not work. Have to hold the lid to load samples.
