Denton Desk V Sputter Coater

We replace the vacuum pump that Denton provided with a Leybold D2.5E pump, which is an upgrade and helps achieve low vacuum faster. The touchscreen display is clear and functional. Test-coated a piece of a glass slide with our own gold target using the manual mode. When the pump was turned on, the chamber reached a vacuum level of 20 micron with about 3 min. If given enough time, the chamber could reach a vacuum level of < 10 micron. Gas needle valve operates smoothly. Stage rotation works. We were able to coat a uniform layer of gold on the slide. The ultimate vacuum of the pump was tested with a micron gauge to be about 3 micron.

We do not provide the gold target. Buyer please purchase your own target.
