Caliper TurboVap II Evaporator

The TurboVap II Concentration Station is a microprocessor-controlled concentration system that offers automated sample evaporation, unattended operation, convenience and speed. The concentrator uses a patented gas vortex shear process to maintain high evaporation rates under mild thermal conditions, regardless of the sample height in the tubes. A spiral air flow is created by the gas flow into each sample storage tube. The spiral flow causes a vortex movement that ensures even sample distribution and continuous flushing of the tube wall. The vapor-saturated gas escapes through a clear path in the middle of the tubes and is drained by an exhaust fan to the exhaust connection at the rear of the device. The TurboVap II uses an integrated microprocessor that automatically times concentration, controls water temperature, automatically shuts off gas and performs operational diagnostics.
